As far as I am concerned, I really enjoyed listening to you all and seeing you "in action" as teachers! All topics were interesting and certainly relevant to your knowledge as a teacher of English. You showed creativity and developed balanced classes, taking into account all skills.
My suggestions for the future:
. Make sure you know the meaning and pronunciation of the vocabulary you're going to work with.
. Double check copies for mistakes.
. For a class to be catching, the activities should be somehow connected; they should have "un hilo conductor", so that they won't just be a collection of tasks to be performed, taken from Internet.
. No doubt the net is a wonderful source of materials and information, but you should make sure whatever you take comes from a reliable page.
. Try to make the most of any activity: if you deal with a listening text to develop understanding of a recorded material or a written piece for grammar's sake, etc, exploit the material in other ways, beyond the main objective.
And most important, ENJOY PREPARING CLASSES and WORKING WITH YOUR STUDENTS IN THE CLASS!!!

I really enjoyed working with my group. We decided easily on our topic because the three of us liked it! Once the topic was chosen, then the rest was just organization. We looked up for the material and we prepared the activities. The most entertained part was prepared all the material we used on the class and decided what to wear!!!

The final activity was very touching.Liliana was right when she said that sometimes the activities were not connected, and I believe that it would have been better. But I really appreciate all you effort and work and I enjoyed each of them a lot! Thanks a bunch for sharing all your knowledge and enthusiam whith us!!!
I also enjoyed working with my friends. We haven't worked so many times together, so it was good to share and prepare the class with them. After the workshop, I felt really good because all of you could express and share your opinions and feelings related to the topic.

Hi! I liked the workshop; especially I enjoyed working with my group. It was really a cooperative work because we invested a lot of time looking for the material, reading it, making sure that was appropriate for our classmates` level, etc. It was a hard work but I didn`t regret having done it because I learnt a lot! Thanks Liliana for all the recommendations! Especially the ones concerning with the reading comprehension, I think it would have been better for us to exploit the material with thought provoking questions to encourage such an analysis. Apart from that, all the workshops were great; they denote hard work and dedication. Good job!
ResponderEliminarPeoplee, as you said before, I enjoyed preparing tha class even though we (my group) couldn't meet to do it 'cause of time so we take advantage from technology and did it online!! I think that our class could have been much better, I wasn't and I'm not satisfied the way we carried it out but well. I understand that it was the first time and that we have to work on it very hard to make it better. In general, I really liked the activities and the topics my mates prepared (though we should have won the music contest!! haha) and that the most important is that we had fun and learnt a lot about different issues. thank u all for your dedication and creativity!
ResponderEliminarHi!! I really enjoyed preparing the workshop! I know we could have done better concerning the use of material, we could have exploited them a little bit! It was really interesting the way in which all groups managed their classes, all of them were great! I had a whale of a time working with my mates, we had fun while choosing the topic and the costums!

Working in groups is really nice, I have lot of fun and enjoy it as much as I can. Thank Lili for all your advices, personally I'll try to remember all these details for our next assignment so we can do it much better.

ResponderEliminarI really enjoyed working with my group. First of all, the three of us agreed on the topic and as we were so excited about working on it, we started to think of different kinds of tasks and activities that could be interesting to grab our classmates’ attention. The rest was just putting all those ideas into practice! Definitely, this workshop was a productive and good activity, since we were free to choose the topics to be developed and I would dare to say that it was our first experience as “real teachers”!
Concerning my mates’ workshops, the first thing I have to say is that I loved all the topics and the way they performed the classes. All of them were really interesting and entertaining! Even more, they showed a lot of hard work and dedication. However, I agree with Lili and my mates on the fact that many of the activities, which were great, could have been exploited a little bit more to make them more productive. But only that!
It was a pleasure to be a teacher and a student in this workshop. Congratulations to you all, guys!!!
Hi everybody!! Well, I really enjoyed working with my group. At first, it was pretty hard to think about a topic for the class. But fortunately, we chose one which is really important for any teacher: "Teaching". Then, it was simple for the three of us to work collectively. We sometimes worked via the internet but in general, we met to agree on the activities because it was easy for us to do it in that way. Besides, we formed a really nice working group and in my opinion, that was the key for our success.
ResponderEliminarTaking into account my mates´ classes, I was totally surprised. They were completely different and all of them were absolutely interesting. I can see that my mates did an excellent work and for me, the most relevant thing is that each of them was able to work collectively. That is what I could see in every performance and for sure, it is awesome!!

Hi guys! I wanted you to know that I´ve really enjoyed working with my group. As there were two girls in my group and they are more inventive than me, working with them enhanced my own creativity and imagination! It was something awesome because I could really help them with some good ideas. Needless to say, I found it quite a productive activity.
ResponderEliminarAbout my mates´ workshops: I attended only one workshop, but I remember that it was really interesting. It was the one given by Flo G., Flo D., and Vale. I remember they worked with the movie Pride and Prejudice and they made us do an activity which helped us reveal our personalities, since the main topic of the workshop was Relationships. As for the workshops I could not attend, I have the best remarks from my classmates. Mostly the one which was about London and the one in which the guys dealt with The Beatles and their musical career.
I really enjoyed all my classmates` classes, I think all of us learnt a lot about teaching and preparing material. I got an idea of how much I will have to work in the future to prepare my classes! Eventhough I know we can do it much better I think it was a great experience for our future development.

I don't have a favourite taller, I learnt sth from each of them. The listening about "The big issue" was touching; the personalitiy quiz from the movie "Pride and Prejudice" was funny; the listening about "The big bang theory" was amazing! It's nice to see that we can teach with up-to-date material and how to do it; the video about Halloween was nice too and the girls dressed up!!
I had FUN and learnt a LOT about lesson planing, preparing material and teaching skills.
We all have sth to improve, that's why we are here!! =)

ResponderEliminarMy God! I`ve forgotten about this task!!! Sorry for being late. Of course I enjoyed the workshop. It was challenging because we had to prepare a class for our classmates. It had to be not only interesting and catching, but also useful for practice and learning. In my group, we spent a lot of time searching for information and activities, and then, preparing the class about a topic was king of hard, but it`s worth it. I believe we learnt a lot from this activity and your suggestions for the future. As I remember what we did in the other workshops, I could say I enjoyed all of them, and what I like most about them was the Beatles` game, the activity in which we had to describe our classmate and the information about Halloween, Santa Claus and The Big Issue.

ResponderEliminarI loved working with my group. Some many ideas came up that it was kind of difficult to select the best of them to put into practice. We searched many webpages and read some interesting articles that we couldn't include.
I really enjoyed all the workshops, and I liked to see how everyone was able to deal with its topic in different ways. We have great fun and learnt a loooot!
I'll bear in mind your suggestions for future classes/workshops.
